We are currently looking for a Senior Project Specialist to provide scheduling support services to our valued clients. This position will work with a team of professionals, including client project managers, construction professionals, and project stakeholders, to develop, manage, and monitor CPM schedules and project control systems throughout a project’s life cycle. This role is a significant project team position with many growth opportunities.

Responsibilities:

• Developing, implementing, and maintaining an effective scheduling management system.
• Identifying and evaluating risk and impacts within project schedules.
• Coordinating project timelines with internal departments and external stakeholders.
• Monitoring project timelines and deadlines.
• Identifying potential project schedule delays and facilitating intervention in a timely manner.
• Evaluating performance and preparing project progress reports.
• Communicating project status and challenges effectively.
• Accommodating updates and changes to project schedules.
• Recommending actions to keep projects within budget, and completed on time.
• Keeping stakeholders informed of project timelines and deadlines.
• Documenting project scheduling processes and maintaining records.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, or related field.
• 10-15 years of experience in developing, maintaining, and analyzing project schedules.
• Advanced proficiency in project scheduling software, such as P6.
• Ability to accurately interpret construction documents.
• Knowledge of construction means, methods, and sequences.
• Extensive knowledge of schedule planning and management, cost and resource management, and reporting.
• In-depth knowledge of the scope of projects within the construction industry.
• Excellent organizational, time-management, and communication skills.
• Familiarity with contractual clauses as they apply to planning and scheduling.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
